The clips had broken and the push rod was no longer attached. While it was detached, the center vent damper and the floor vent dampers got jammed together.4.2L. 6 CYL. 2WD. AUTOMATIC. 133,484 MILES. Recently my front vents stopped working on my vehicle. I've tried to re-calibrate by taking out the fuse, waiting a couple minutes, putting the fuse back in, turning the car to run, letting it go through its motions, but that didn't work. Jun 11, 2013 · Unlike what I have read on this forum, the REAR AC in my Trailblazer (non-ext model) is NOT installed in in the roof, instead it is installed between the front seats behind the center console. In my vehicle there are 2 small vents located at the rear of the center console pointing backwards towards the rear seats.
