There are a list of items to inspect and replace if damaged in the bulletins. Probable cause (s) Low transmission fluid (HCF-2) level. Transmission fluid (HCF-2) deteriorated. Transmission fluid strainer or transmission fluid filter clogged. Bottom line is that Honda's CVT is a great transmission imho. Compared to my 2008 Accord I get about 10 more miles per gallon on the highway—c.37-40 mpg, depending on speed, ac use, etc.. It gives fast and smooth acceleration.
