After fitting an XS ghost ring to my top eject Win 94 I understand that I will have to drill and tap the receiver of the '92 to accept the XS rear ghost ring, the lawyer safety will be deleted, that is accepted. Rifle is current production 20"barrel .357.This one will be called the Bolt Mounted safety replacement elevation adjustable peep sight. It will eliminate that ugly wart safety. Just for clarity, the Rossi 92 still has the 1/4 cock notch on the hammer just like the original Win 92. My old Rossi 92 had an OEM flat top rear sight and I switched it over to the new semi buckhorn that my 73 came with. I've seen a new 92 that came stock w/ that same semi buckhorn. My old 92 has a larger dovetail so my replacement semi buckhorn fits in the dovetail extremely loose. It does require drilling and tapping two holes but it is a nice looking sight and any Gun Smith or decent machine shop should be able to do that for you. The other alternative, and it reeks of Cowboy action shooting, is a Tang sight.
