Nov 27, 2023 · The board's mysterious expenditures maintain the college's boring lifestyle, and the pure ignorance of staff and faculty is causing strikes. Professors are about 60% good and 40% bad. VERY little activities for students, which does not create a social community for students. Campus is in the woods.

Plenty of opportunities offered on campus. Lots of great professors, as well as some very lackluster professors. The campus itself provides great areas for quiet study. If you just sit in the room and don't make an effort to make friends and find clubs or activities you will hate it, but if you try even just a little bit you'll love it. Most people here are really friendly and the professors are cool. Greek/frat culture is dominant but UCSB markets it as a small population. It’s loud ALL THE TIME in IV where you pay $800+ for a dilapidated double, surrounded by immature idiots who never left high school.
