The incident took place on State Route 58 near Tehachapi Boulevard at about 1:13 a.m. December 24. The CHP said a combination truck tractor pulling a Hyundai west on SR 58 struck a pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian, a 61-year-old California City man, had been involved in an earlier collision.
