That’s a strong indicator that students are very happy at both these schools. Kenyon has a somewhat lower freshman retention rate at 89%, but that’s still very good. When you apply to Kenyon (like most liberal arts schools), you indicate the major that interests you but don't apply for a specific major, unlike larger schools. So the admitted student profile for the school is inclusive of all majors. Kenyon is a small campus in a tiny town with a couple of small restaurants and a cute coffee shop.Kenyon College is my dream school, but I also love Whitman College. I would be one happy camper at either of these institutions.
