188 Posts. #13 · Mar 22, 2021. I've gotten 30 mpg at 70 mph with a Gen 1 2.7EB but that was a Reg Cab XL 4x2 with 3.15 gears. Best I ever got was 26.5 mpg at 65 mph with a Supercab 4x4 3.55. From factory P Tires to an Aftermarket LT with Aggressive Tread I usually figure on a 10% mpg loss.
F150 Platinum Leveled on 35s! 2020 Ford at Akins. No Trimming!May 5, 2015 · I have a 2.5 level/lift with 35x18x12.50's, there is some rubbing, but it was just plastic, so some trimming and heat moulding it was fine. I have a 2005 with rancho quicklift struts which are like a 2.5in level. 315/70r17 on 17x9. minor rubbing on back of wheelwells and fenders. You can put 35s on a Stock F150, but you need to make some changes in the front area of the tires for this purpose. Add a leveling kit, or you can remove the crash bars and use your 35s without any problem.
