The check engine light came on and then went off.I had the same issue with my '97 F150 5.4. I also had a P0171 and P0174 and the truck was running fine. PCV was replaced, upper and lower intake manifold gaskets were replaced and MAF was cleaned. Still the CEL with the same codes came back even after I reset the computer. I finally took it to the dealer last Monday.The P1131 code indicates that the heated oxygen sensor contains a failure in the upstream flow. Therefore, Bank 1 is seen as running lean.
