I am aware that there are probably fantastic threads describing the practice/daily life of a heme/onc doc, primarily from a medical standpoint (is it more inpatient/outpatient, what is practice like, etc) Also, I am interested in lifestyle of a heme/onc doc. I have searched the threads and found some good reads.Because while I like IM, I can’t see myself practicing it everyday. Just an observation: I find it common that people who like heme onc tend to also like ID. Which makes it funny to me that HO and ID are often at odds in the hospital (ie BMT wants to use some weird restricted antibiotic and ID won't let them). Interesting how like minded individuals develop different perspectives through their training paths.
