Xeno vs keymo.

I’m a Xeno user, my brother has Keymo. No baffle strikes for either one of us but maybe we aren’t trying hard enough. I like the weight savings and deadnuts simplicity of the spin-it-on-hand-tight of Xeno vs Keymo. Rearden has more thread pitch and brake/hider options and seems to be a fan favorite. I just prefer the left hand threads of Xeno.

Direct thread simplicity, quick-attach Keymo, accuracy-driven Xeno, pistol boosters, and 3-lug for subgun fun, are all made possible thanks to our industry-standard 1.375"-24 rear threads and our newly engineered HUB to P-Series adapter.Keymo or Xeno - Silencer Mounting Decision. Ok. The above is a PWS M116 Mod 1. I don’t plan on running it suppressed all that often (that’s what SBRs are for). However, I have a few cans - Sandman K and S, Sierra 5 (Xeno) and Nomad TI (Xeno). I’m leaning Xeno for weight considerations - both the system itself as well as the cans themselves.Your Price: $36.00. Part Number: TPM Xeno. Availability: In Stock. Quantity. Add to Cart. Reply. sotexbandit • 2 mo. ago. The T3 is a pretty solid improvement with backpressure vs the T2, I'd say my T3 is on par with my Polonium K and RC2 in that regard. 4.

I'd go with the Sierra5. My buddy has one and I was impressed with it. The Polonium K is impressive for its size but I'm personally not a big fan of high backpressure cans and will trade muzzle performance for at-ear performance all day long. 1.Quoted: You forgot to quote the first part of that sentence..."The Lahar-30K utilizes industry standard 1 3/8-24 threads..." That means that a Dead Air KeyMo back end will fit on the Lahar, meaning you could buy this, and then use the KeyMo muzzle devices. The Dead Air Xeno shares similar design features to the Q Cherry Bomb. If done correctly, that means the thread before the taper will adequately secure the muzzle device to the silencer, while also preventing any fouling from reaching the threads and carbon locking the silencer to the muzzle. 3. Reply. doctor_iggy. The new 5.56 silencer will be offered with the two standard Dead Air mounting systems, Xeno and KeyMo. Running the Xeno adapter makes for a 0.55″ shorter and 2.1oz lighter setup vs the KeyMo adapter. Although most people prefer the KeyMo for the speed of attaching and detaching when needed. Oct 17, 2023. #2. Are you talking about the mount that screws into the back of the suppressors, or the muzzle devices on the barrels? If you’re referring to the KeyMo mount itself, from the point it touches the back of the can, to the rearmost measurement, it adds roughly 1-1/8” to 1-3/16” to the length of the suppressor. T.

ETA: Xeno is a thread-to-taper system that is designed around being really light with added precision, while still providing excellent retention with how the tapers lock up. Ditching Keymo, rearden vs asr. Decided to ditch my Keymo mostly because of weight and having it worked loose a few times (yes I’ve tightened it down). Keymo can also be a pain to remove. The 1/2-28 Xero can handle all projectiles up to 9mm bore size, and the 5/8-24 Xero.Keymo is NOT stupid heavy. For what it does, for how well it works and how flawlessly it functions, it's light. It's a magical stupid-proof mounting system. On a related note, I'd agree with an above poster that you're probably looking for the Xeno Mount. It's slick and light(er than Keymo) and has left hand threads for the silencer.Xeno is absolutely both accuracy and precision minded. It has exceptional return-to-zero. KeyMo is is also a thread-to-taper interface, but with an added detent clutch to further resist the tapers from loosening under high vibration and thermal shift. The broad taper fitup means it'll work for precision shooting also.I personally like having one mounting system for a silencer that can be used on more than one host, since you're already invested in the keymo system, I'd recommend selling the yhm mount and going keymo. Another plus over the yhm system is that dead air has more aftermarket support for muzzle devices from the nox, jmac customs and forward control.Nov 29, 2021 · Trying to decide between it and the Keymicro for multiple rifles. ETA: the two main rifles will be an AR-10 do all and a R700 300RUM precision rifle. I'm thinking you accidentally wrote "KeyMicro" when you really meant "KeyMo." I have all of the above. The extended Keymo muzzle …Keymo is great and more and more third party manufacturers are supporting it. If you're planning on buying other Dead Air suppressors like the Sierra or Sandman then standardize on Keymo. Xeno is 98% as good as Keymo at keeping the suppressor on the end of your gun. It's lighter and significantly cheaper to buy the Hub adapters.I have no experience with the Xeno. I do have a Keymo but that's strictly a gas gun mounting system for me, the added weight and length don't make sense for me on hunting bolt guns. Reactions: Mark Dille and SierraJoe.
