I have the same problem with a 1992 Honda Accord LX. It was getting tougher and tougher to shift out of park. Once free of park, it would shift easily into and out of other gears. Now it is locked completely. Even the key override slot doesn't release it from park. Went back and tried turning it on, something else I noticed, all the of the settings under vehicle are greyed out and I get a message saying that car must be in park to change. Also the Start stays red and it takes two button pushes to turn off instead of the one, and the rear cam doesnt turn on when put in reverse.
