If you use 1 tick data or high fill resolution, you will be closer to reality (it's pretty good)--I would still visually validate there aren't data issues though, as they do happen (you know it when you see it on the chart).Been using Tradovate for about 2 years now. If it’s lagging make sure you are directly connected to a router, no wireless, and make sure your pc has a good cpu and graphics card. Their program is not the best out there but it’s also not bad.
