I started farming tricaru runes as soon as I had A+ on rift beasts. I 2a’d raoq first for necro then Kro for rift beasts and giants and those two + twins let me consistently farm beasts. Most of my runes I got from drops not crafting though. I spent easily over 20k energy (and that’s lowballing it) on rune farming for them.Tricaru isn't just about skills, it's also about optimising their stats. Non budget is doing God mode twins runes. But with the large range of rune quality you can have icarus on, tricaru is the budget and the end game team.

Don't disregard 5* runes if you are trying to get the team started. My first tricaru team had 7 5* determination runes on it overall. Especially slot 1/3/5 can be grinded into a useable rune, but I also had a few 2/4/6. Luckily I am down to only 2 5* runes, but still.

sorry for the clickbait, I called the team solo astar because I run one astar for the tricaru team, rather than two astars which is a common team people run, and call it "double astar" or "dastar". this is just for informative purposes anyways so people can reference the runes in case they want to make something similar.Back in the day, people almost always built Verdehile with SPD in slot 2 and HP in slot 3, on violent runes. This is not the way for a Tricaru Verdehile (or an Abyss one either but that's a different topic). So if you're struggling to build it, know DB12 isn't an option, you can grind rift beasts and then use the crafting materials to craft Determination sets.(Unless use tricaru.) This was even recommended in the old days nb10. While it was feasible to do 10 without violent, 12 requires MUCH higher rune quality (or advanced monsters) to pull it off without violent. For sub 1min teams, they have to nuke the boss before it gets immunity, or have a strip with good ai so it actually strips when the immunity comes, which requires pretty crazy runes for db12.
