Knight wolverine 209 conversion kit.
As the topic says. I'm in need of the tools to take apart a knight wolverine. When I got the muzzle loader it didn't come with them they had been misplaced. If anybody has a extra set sitting around I'd be interested in buying or whatever. Please let me know and thanks in advance.

I would spend the extra money and convert. The 209 gives you a hotter ignition, less chance for a miss fire. I have converted my Wolverine from cap to 209. I would not look back. The $80 is high as mentioned above check around you should be able to get it around $40 to $50 for the conversion kit.Knight no longer offers a bare primer replacement breech plug because of liability. The do off a Red Plastic Jacket version breech plug that you insert 209 primers into then insert the assembly on the RPJ breech plug. To use this assembly you would have to get a new hammer assembly with a pointed comb in the nose to ignite the 209 primer.Like the old saying, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's good advice. If you're happy with the muzzleloader right now, then don't change anything. However, switching to a 209 primer WILL allow you to use Blackhorn 209 as a propellant. Posts: 21,193. RE: knight mk85. They were rated to 120 grains of loose FFg powder since it was before the 209 ignition. The MK-85 was also considered one of the best Knight rifles made. They were know for their accuracy and dependability. Yours being a stainless steel model makes it only that much better.
