Its not as strong as a fighter, but all of your fighter classes, tanks, pets, backline melee, and even casters will benefit from them being there. Paladin doesn't normally need Wis so it's very little benefit if you weren't speccing with it in mind. Wisdom is actually the stat a Paladin wants the least and its often used as a dumpstat. Ofc respec is an option if you don't care for Core achievements. 2 small corrections.Grenadier gets little that is truly unique and mostlly represents extra free feats / discoveries compared to baseline. Preservationist has compatibly slower progression but opens up a whole new use / roll for an alchemist. Also alchemist spells kind of drop off at 5th / 6th level so being able to fill them with level 8/9 summons is pretty neat. 8.
