The Haven 2 BR villas are some of the best rooms at sea, you will enjoy the master bedroom/bathroom. Be aware that the Epic Courtyard (pool area) is far from quite with 2 big vents and some kind of motors in them running constantly. Plus you are in a prison yard like pit with walls going up 2 or 3 decks.

I like Epic because it has an amazing, open-feeling pool deck. The pool decks on Getaway and Escape are designed weird that make them crowded. Epic is completely different, and we like that. The pool area makes up for the weird bathroom situation.The epic vibrates more during maneuvers because unlike a lot of ships built in the last 5-8 years it doesn't use azipods. It has two main propellers in the rear plus side thrusters fore/aft on each side. The simple maneuver of turning is more complex than just pointing the azipod the right direction.

There are three pools, 6-7 hot tubs, three slides. The specialty restaurants and MDRs are all similar enough to every other NCL ship.
