recommended breathing for low lvl. Wind is good And water. Lighting, fire, wind and water are my best recommendations. Lightning dishes out the most damage, fire has a nice damage and it leaves a DoT on the enemy, wind overall is better for grinding purposes, and water you can get combos in while having a somewhat good amount of damage.
If you want to have fun and try something really different, and play pvp in a more defensive manner, go for wind since imo it's the breathing style with the most fun factor.
