The Trunk relay #36 in the trunk fuse box is the cause. There are 3 of these relays; Parklamps 27, Trunk 36 and Fuel Pump 37. I swapped 36 with 27 and 37 which both fixed the trunk but the bad trunk relay would not work the lights or fuel pump. I am buying a new relay tomorrow, cost is about $20.
