I have been using Legends for years now. This is my 5th bike with legends. I’ve had every setup they have from a soortster all the way to ultra classic and every bike in between. We’ve tried all the suspensions set ups with cartridges in the front and revos in the rear. We tried the air and the arcs. They have all been fantastic. Personally I am going with ohlins, BUT if you have a dealer resonably close, and you believe is competent that speakes volumes. I'm up in the great white north so dealer support is lacking for pro action . That leaves me with (off the shelf) legends, or the world wide network support of ohlins.

IIRC, the Ohlins is a standard body and the spring is selected for your weight when you order the shock. Individual shops may elect to adjust the valving on the Ohlins but that is not a factory option. The difference is really adjustability of the system and the bling factor. The ohlins have better adjustability then the showa's.
