Just try to keep the baton pass up and get max pass to joker or party member with the corresponding affinity. The fight is trivial on merciless because critical damage is 3.5x. You can 1 shot the smaller bots, 2 shot the medium ones and 2 shot the large ones. Just stack baton passes with the psychic damage Single items.
