So it's likely no one meant you any trauma, but I agree once other people and other stops are added to your trip the risk of something going wrong multiplies.

The weather wasn’t great and it was very quiet (with the exception of Sun Clubber and primarily the restaurant). The French side is 220V so I would be very surprised if any 120V appliances worked there, but would be fun to watch the flames. Computers and chargers are very happy to just have the small cheap adapters these days. Yes, I agree it is confusing, but on Travel Talk on Line, St Martin, the residents state that it is for all of North America, and there will be no quarantine, they are not happy as they do not have the facilities to accomodate sick people.

Last time I rented on St Martin the car had obvious hurricane damage. 1. Re: Car rental. I used Expedia to book through Avis a small SUV (Ssangyong Tivoli), which is actually a small crossover and it cost 371 USD for a week. I prefer this route rather than saving a few tens of dollars with a smaller company.

Pepper, the section of the terminal that has reopened is the lower, ground floor. That was the former "B Gates" area. You always walked out to a bus that took you to your plane where you walked up the moveable steps. The jetways (ramps) were from the "A Gates" area on the second floor.

It took just about an hour to get through everything and get to our gate on a Sunday in February for a 12:30 flight. I think that is typical, but them every once in a while the waits balloon to 2 hours.
