Unlike all other p365 variant grip modules, the X-Macro is much thicker in the area where the safeties come through the grip. A simple notch (as is the case with all other grip sizes) is insufficient. In addition to the notch, you must substantially clearance the area around the notch to allow the levers to be installed and function.
The pull on my X Macro is lighter, but the take up is too long, with far too much creep, a bit of overtravel, and a break that is simply intolerable in anything but a pocket pistol. There was a thread a while back which teased a photo which was stated as being taken at Sig and showing some upcoming P365 models. The non comp version seen here was among them. There was also what appeared to be a long slide Macro. I’d guess 4-4.25” barrel. Sig will have all bases covered in the P365 lineup, with duty gun being one of them.P365X Macro grip module measures 24mm where the module meets the slide. Slide widths are equal in width at 23mm. Looking at the rail on the P365X Macro, it does extend to the end of the slide where the XL stops 15mm short of the end of the slide. It could be a combination of these two increases that prevents the X Macro from fitting an XL holster.

The comp seemed gimmicky to me but also the size felt more like a Glock 19. I put a Wilson Combat XL grip on it with extended mag release. I plan to go back to the MACRO grip module in winter.
