You'd be surprised how much crap is going to be down there. Spilled coffee and sodas draw dirt and the muck makes switches stick.
Then I tried to use it, and took me a few tries to get it right (as I mentioned above). To lock it, open driver door, press lock button, then both lock and rear unlock on the FOB to disable FOB. I didn't pay attention when I drove off but when I got home the gauge still read 3/4 full. A day later and couple drives later and it still says 3/4.

My intent is to share (hopefully help) those that prefer to go to the dealer and get it done within a few days. PROBLEM: My key getting stuck was first intermittent and then became 80 to 90% of the time. The only way to get the key out is to jiggle the shifter or restart the car and move it forward or back; then the key would come out.
