In trader.xml, search for "close_time" and set the closing and opening times to the same value. I set both of mine to 10:00 just in case he kicks you out for 1 second, but he didn't! 10:00 passed and I remained inside the building overnight while zombies attacked the walls. Just a quick tip if you're playing with multiple people, set zombie blood moon count as low as possible. Not for difficulty reasons, but for connectivity reasons.
