I personally just used it and my mods are back up and running! All you need to do is stated in this post. It seems almost deliberate, especially considering how they forced the update onto SE. This patcher fixes everything that the update broke, by rolling back the exe to 1.5.97, and optionally the update.esm too but I wouldn't do that personally as you want to keep the updated CC files. On a more complicated note, the difference is that the best of both worlds (bobw) downgrades only the files that need to be downgraded in order for that version's SKSE to work, while the full patcher downgrades EVERYTHING, including plugins. If you do not 100% know that you need to use the full patcher, use bobw.
