I replaced the crankshaft seal behind the harmonic balancer, replaced the bolt, torqued it to 74ftlbs and then added 90 degrees. Put it all together and fire it up. Once you remove that hub then you can see the cam gear and pin. It might be fine, and your issue is just the hub in front of it.
