Maybe not good counters, but I've found quite a few surprise defenders that almost never let me down. Like, my 6r1 Ebony Maw almost never loses. Same for 6r1 Sabertooth, and my 5r4 Sasquatch. They're just so god damned resilient, and always seem to come out victorious for me.
