The passenger sliding door for the past year will just stop in the middle of closing. The buttons or handle will not work. For the closing issue, check the condition of the rubber lip at the front edge of the sliding door. If the doors are open when you disconnect (or drain) the batteries the system will not know where they are when the battery is replaced or recharged.
