It's not hard to remove the gov. If you bypass it you run the risk of it coming apart and the parts bouncing around inside your engine. It's just a plastic gear with some counter weights. Ungoverned it will be spinning about twice as fast as it's design. Don’t bypass. You will inevitably grenade the governor gear.The governor hole is 1/4" and if you remove the oil sensor while you're in there it's 7/16". Tap them if possible, use fine thread bolts and red loctite. If you do the oil sensor too you'll need to cut the bolt because you won't be able to find one short 😜 enough.
