The 40k precons have no "main set" to draw from, the only cards are the 4 commander decks, and all of them are pretty tuned for their own deck already. There might be a few artifacts you can pull from the other decks, but most of the cards aren't even gonna be in the right colors, and the ones that are will mostly be better in their original ...

Right, except all the posts above have the precons as "good" compared to other precpns, which they are, as average card quality is much better.
