Same issue as you, Found the fix. I had to open yuzu in steam desktop, then open speaker on the desktop bottom right menu. click applications and Yuzu is muted by default. I unchecked mute and booted back into steam deck game OS. Audio works now.

Use power tools and turn off SMT if using Yuzu, and set GPU to normal (this breaks some graphics in cities). Ryujinx - no settings will make it better. It's the game that runs poorly. Wait for a Nintendo patch for it to run on Deck. Stream it from a more powerful PC.
Skyrim is also a classic open world world game if you haven’t played it. You can play BotW itself, via CEMU or Yuzu. Witcher 3 kind of gives me BotW vibes, although obviously it’s much more gruesome. Check out the Ori games, “Ori and the Blind Forest” and the sequel “Ori and the Will of the Wisps”.
