It seems less likely with the G7 than with the G6 because I remember seeing bleeding with the G6 like 3 or 4 times in like more than 3 years. So far with 5 G7's, no bleeders on upper arm. The bleeding G6's were on either upper thigh or abdomen. Bleeding eventually stopped with no further complications of course with good cleaning.

Immediately after inserting, hold it firmly on the drain hole on the G7 top for 60-120 seconds. This will both absorb any initial bleeding as well as encouraging the remainder to come out and clot. This can also help minimize bleeding into the adhesive pad. I'm 6'2" 225 lbs and I use it on the back of my arms as well.
