The hardest part is unclipping the harness and working in a tight spot. Once the clip is off, remove the 10mm bolt and remove and replace. It's easy.

Anytime I start the car cold, it idles high right off the bat, and continues as it warms up to operating temperature, never idling below 1200. On a hot start, the car revs to about 2k, and almost instantaneously drops to 1k, and settles out at about the same 1200.

Jul 17, 2015 · It doesn't actually learn anything. Instead, it selects a shift schedule based on your driving style. IIRC, there are three different shift schedules for Normal and two for Sport that the ECU chooses based on driving style. The only other stuff that the ECU "learns" is the long-term fuel trim and idle parameters. I reset my Transmission ECU after an oil change :) I now have smoother shifting and more aggressive performance, which is what I wanted.
