It seems a Zerk would be much more efficient than a range tank considering it has more of a KO factor with a G Maul or 2H. For straight up pking, go zerk. For more pvm type situations mixed with pking, go range tank. Basically range tanks don't have as much killing power, but if you find people who will dm, you're basically set to win every time.
