I have found that instead of going through the bull crap of doing the reset procedure over and over, if I raise the window a few inches at a time it will finally close all the way.It’s inconsistent whether it unlocks all doors, or just the driver’s door. The car is set to ‘unlock driver’s door only’, and more often than not, it unlocks all doors. My passenger window does this (2019 Outback Limited). It’ll go almost all the way up then back down. I tried a weird reset that I found for a different Subaru car model but that didn’t work. That's what I was looking up. There doesn't appear to be any pinch strip in the window, so the encoder has to be replaced.
