I am hoping to gather a consensus and see if there is a preference one way or the other. For arguments sake, an Overdrive is the pedal with the lower gain setting (the less dirty, cleaner sound). A Distortion is the pedal with the higher gain setting or dirtier sound. This is regardless of what's written on the pedal box.
