The areas in the ALW where you might find blacktails is crowded with hikers. Lakes = more hikers. SO access points on the North and South side of the ALW for blacktail have a lot of people.

My advice would be going south just because there is way more public land to hunt. Not to say there isnt public land but its very small parcels and low deer densitys.
